Word of the day: back on track
After a bit of a hiatus, PinkNihon’s word of the day is back. I’ve started adding some more words from the “Japanese-English Guide to Sex, Kink and Naughtiness”.
In sharing the book with people there have been some interesting reactions; some people recognize certain words while other native speakers of Japanese have apparently never heard of the same words. One particular example that has had such reaction is futanari. I first came across this word in different manga from some shops in Akiba. Some Japanese people recognize the word while some do not. It is fascinating to see how the language (particularly in this book) defines different sexual sub-cultures.
